Trailer: Mirror Mirror

I had really high hopes for Mirror Mirror when I first heard about it but after seeing this trailer, I can't help but think "Is Julia Roberts really that hard up for roles?".

Hopefully it'll be better than the trailer makes it out to be because from what I've seen, I wouldn't pay to see it.

'Jack & Jill' Hollywood Premiere

The stars of 'Jack & Jill' got together to walk the red carpet for the Hollywood premiere of the film on Monday night.

Is it just me or does it look like Adam Sandler forgot to comb his hair? Katie Holmes looked really nice for a change (she even opted to wear a dress made by her line, Holmes & Yang), Al Pacino looked like he's still trying too hard to stay young and Rebecca Black...what the hell was she doing there?

There's no way you'll ever find me paying to see this movie. It looks absolutely ridiculous. I'm actually quiet sad that Adam Sandler would go for this type of Eddie Murphy movie...shame on you Adam.

Jack & Jill hits theaters on Friday, Nov 11.

Trailer: 21 Jump Street

I swore up & down that I was going to hate this remake and there was NO way I'd be paying money to see it, especially since a thin Jonah Hill just isn't that fun to watch, but I'm eating my words because...

it actually looks really funny.

Also, Channing Tatum is yummy.

*bows head in shame*

Will you be watching this movie?

Meet The Cast Of The New 007 Movie: 'Skyfall'

Of course the cast will include the very handsome Daniel Craig as James Bond again but meet the rest of the cast...

Javier Bardem will play the villain, Dame Judi Dench will return as M, french actress Berenice Marlohe will play Severine, and Naomi Harris will play Eve.

The new 007 flick has been named Skyfall and will be in theaters on November 9, 2012.

I've always been a fan of the Daniel Craig 007 movies so I can't wait for this next one. One thing though...why in the world is Marlohe wearing nude pantyhose, what is this, 1983? Good thing she won't be dressing herself for the movie!

I don't know how I feel about Tom Hardy doing a RomCom movie but this trailer makes this movie look funny & action filled.

Chris Pine & Reese Witherspoon are a nice fit so we'll have to wait & see how the threesome do...and which hottie the girl picks. ;)

EW's 'Princess Bride' Reunion Photo!

click photo to enlarge

My husband & his sister are huge fans of this movie. I on the other hand have only watched it once & thought it was merely OK...sorry, fans.

However for those of you who loved the movie you'll be happy to see that the 1987 Princess Bride cast (Billy Crystal, Christopher Guest, Robin Wright, Wallace Shawn, Cary Elwes, Mandy Patinkin, Carol Kane, and Chris Sarandon) got together for a marvelously shot reunion photo in EW magazine.

You'll notice that they even paid a lovely homage to late Peter Falk and Andre the Giant.

Trailer: American Reunion (Teaser)

OMG this looks like it's going to be hilarious!

I can't wait to see it. American Reunion is the fourth installment of the American Pie series & this is it's first official (NSFW) teaser trailer. The movie is set to premiere in theaters April 6, 2012.

So far so good. I can't wait to see the full trailer.

Trailer: The Avengers

The movie that almost everyone's been waiting for is here & by the looks of it it's going to be...somewhat good.

I'm not a Scarlett Johansson fan so I'm a little bummed that she's in it but all the hot ass guys make up for it ;)

The Avengers will hit theaters May 2012.

Trailer: One For The Money

Katherine Heigl might not suck in this...

Also, that chocolate toffee dude with a gun is hot. I'm not saying I'll watch in in theaters but it's worth a good Red Box rental ;)

Trailer: The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (Extended Version)

Now this is a good trailer. The first one they released was a little bit too short for my taste. It left a lot out & didn't explain or set the story up for those (2) of us that haven't read the best selling book.

After watching this version of the trailer I'm quiet excited about seeing the movie.

The movie is set to premiere in theaters on December 21, 2011.

'A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas' Posters Released!

No joke, I'm really excited for this brain cell killer! I loved the 2 before it and I can't wait to see what these two will get into next.

**********

Official synopsis:
After years of growing apart, Harold Lee and Kumar Patel have replaced each other with new friends and are preparing for their respective Yuletide celebrations. But when a mysterious package mistakenly arrives at Kumar’s door on Christmas Eve, his attempt to redirect it to Harold’s house ends with the “high grade” contents — and Harold’s father-in-law’s prize Christmas tree — going up in smoke. With his in-laws out of the house for the day, Harold decides to cover his tracks, rather than come clean. Reluctantly embarking on another ill-advised journey with Kumar through New York City, their search for the perfect replacement tree takes them through party heaven — and almost blows Christmas Eve sky high.

Melissa McCarthy & Jason Bateman Team Up For New Movie!

These two are on fire when it comes to making movies!

Jason Bateman is set to star and produce the upcoming Universal comedy ID Theft and has just signed the Bridesmaids superstar to co-star in it with him.

According to Deadline, the movie was originally about a guy who gets his identity stolen by another guy. This all changed after Bateman saw Melissa McCarthy in the summer hit and pushed for her to be written in.

So it looks like Bateman's character's identity won't be stolen by a man but by a woman now. Nice!

Shooting is believed to begin in April 2012, once McCarthy's show Mike & Molly goes on hiatus. I'm actually looking forward to this movie, sounds original and with these two in the lead I'm sure it's going to get a lot of laughs.

Bradley Cooper Backs Out Of 'The Crow' Remake!

The Hangover was set to star in the remake of the 1990's cult classic but has had to back out of the film due to scheduling conflicts.
According to Cinema Blend, it's namely David O. Russell's The Silver Lining Playbook and the big-budget Paradise Lost adapation that caused the sheduling problems.
Relativity Media is still looking to put The Crow on the fast track by quickly looking for a replacement for Bradley Cooper. Rumors are that they're eyeballing Mark Wahlberg and Channing Tatum. I'm hoping this rumor isn't true!

Sneak Peak: Johnny Depp In 'The Rum Diary'

My husband is a ginormous fan of Hunter S. Thompson's and has anxiously waited for news on this movie so I'm sure fans like him are going to pleased that things are moving along nicely.

The above photo shows a very {hot} retro looking Johnny Depp with Amber Heard who will be playing his obsession in the big screen adaption of the book.

There were rumors of the novel making it to the big screen before Thompson's suicide in 2005 but a screenplay was not written until a few years ago. Filming for the film began in 2009 in Puerto Rico and so far has a release date of October 28, 2011.

Depp, who was a very close friend of Thompons' recently stated to EW that he may have filmed this movie before Pirates of the Charibbean: On Stranger Tides but delayed the release of the film because:
You can’t open it next to some blockbuster thing,” he says. ”It’s a special little film.”
I love that it means so much to him that he's stop it from being swept aside by any 'bigger' films.

Johnny Depp will star as Paul Kemp, an itinerant journalist who tires of New York and America under the Eisenhower administration and travels to Puerto Rico to write for The San Juan Star. Kemp begins the habit of drinking rum and becomes obsessed with the woman Chenault (Amber Heard).

I never read the book but you can pretty much assume this is going to be a great film since Depp is staring in it!

'The Hunger Games' Sequal Gets November 2013 Release Date!

The Hunger Games is still filming but it's sequel Catching Fire has already gotten it's release date fro Thanksgiving weekend 2013!

Catching Fire is the second film in the Hunger Games franchise based on the books by Suzanne Collins. The big screen adaptation is set to premiere in theaters March 23, 2012.
“The magical thing about the Hunger Games trilogy is that the books have such a vastly broad appeal,” Joe Drake, Lionsgate co-COO and Motion Picture Group president said. “The stories truly offer something for everyone, and the period around the Thanksgiving weekend is such an opportunity for families and friends to make an event of going to the movies.”
Seems to me like they know the first movie's going to be a hit and they don't want to let the excitement die down...or the stars of the movie to run off.

Hopefully it lives up the book fans expectations.
