'American Horror Story' Star Connie Britton Adopts A Baby!

Friday Night Lights alum Connie Britton may be playing a parent on her newest show, American Horror Story, but now she's also playing that role in real life.

44-year-old Britton has adopted a 9-month-old baby boy from Ethiopia. After a three year long adoption process, the actress's dream of motherhood came true about a week ago, after she returned from the African country with her son Yoby - a nickname for Eyob, his given name.

"I am thanking my lucky stars every day," Britton, 44, tells PEOPLE.

Actress Mariska Hargitay Adopts A Son!

It wasn't too long ago that the Law & Order: SVU starlet welcomed an adopted daughter, Amaya Josephine to the family...actually, it was only six months ago and now she's welcomed another baby.

47-year-old Mariska Hargitay and husband Peter Hermann adopted a son, Andrew Nicolas Hargitay Hermann not to long ago. Their new son was born over the summer and the couple claims they never imagined to adopt again so quickly, it just happened.

Hargitay claims they had discussed adopting sometime down the line but within a week of processing their paperwork for the second time, they were able to bring home a son. Lucky for them. Most people have to wait years to just process paperwork.

“We never in a million years thought it would happen this quickly, but something inside of us knew that this was right, and we said, ‘Yes, yes, yes!’” says Hargitay, who is also mom to son August, 5.

“We knew this was our guy. Everything about it felt right. It felt divinely right.”

Hagritay plans on continuing to work four days a week on the NBC hit show. 

I've always been of fan of hers & I'm really happy that these kids were able to be adopted by her but it's just sad to see that people with money can basically buy a baby faster than other people. What can I say, the system really sucks.

'Sex & The City' Star Kristin Davis Adopts A Baby!

I always thought she'd make a great mom...it may be because she was a really cute on in the Sex and the City show. Whatever. 

46-year-old actress Kristin Davis welcomed daughter Gemma Rose Davis through domestic adoption a few months ago. 

"This is something I have wanted for a very long time," Davis tells PEOPLE. "Having this wish come true is even more gratifying than I ever had imagined. I feel so blessed."

I'm so happy for her and am super glad that she opted for domestic adoption versus international because our country has way too many kids that need a family.

This is Davis' only child and is not married.

Ewan McGregor & Wife Adopt Daughter #4

40-year-old Ewan McGregor and his set designer wife Eve Mavrakis have adopted a little girl.

The actor accidentally let the good news slip while promoting his movie Beginners in Los Angeles earlier this month. The actor was in the middle of discussing how family always comes first when the slip up occurred:

"My wife and four girls – 15, two nine-year-olds and a baby of four months – often come with me if it’s a holiday or my locations and their schedules allow. Sometimes we uproot them and put them in another school."

Ewan is pretty private when it comes to his family life but stated in a recent interview that he will always try to spend as much time as possible with his children.

"I recognize it can be boring to play with young children – to tell a story over and over again, let’s say – but the secret is being there. If you’ve made a decision to play with your children, then play with them. Don’t be looking through papers on your desk or sneaking off to the computer. Turn off your BlackBerry. Lose yourself in their world. Even if you do it for a short time, it will mean a lot to you and to them."

No news on what their newest daughters name or where she was born is but it is known that she was born in March, making her 4 months old. This is the second adopted child for the couple, who adopted daughter Jamiyan from Mongolia in 2006.

Actress Denise Richards Adopts A Baby Girl!

I love this news! 

40-year-old actress Denise Richards is a mom again. She has adopted a baby girl named Eloise Joni Richards, according to her rep.

"Eloise Joni Richards is named after Denise's mom (Joni), and Denise and her daughters Sami and Lola chose the name Eloise," the rep says. "Denise and Eloise's big sisters couldn't be happier and feel incredibly blessed."

The baby was born in California and is only a few days old.

Soon after the news of her adoption went live Denise took to her Twitter account to comment:

"Thank you all for your sweet messages," she Tweeted. "The girls and I are over the moon and so is my dad Grandpa Irv...xo"

Baby Eloise joins big sisters Lola, 6, and Sam, 7, who Denise had with ex-husband Charlie Sheen.
