Chace Crawford & Anna Kendrick Are Having A Baby...In New Movie!

They'd probably have a really cute baby if they actually had one in real life but this is only for a movie.

Both the 25-year-old actors have reportedly signed onto star in the star studded big screen adaption of the book, What To Expect When You're Expecting.

Chase Crawford will play Marco and Anna Kendrick will play his attractive ex. The two reunite after a fight over territory for their respective food trucks. They then begin a funny journey together in light of a surprise pregnancy.

The film will have four interlocking story lines about expecting couples based on the best-selling book by Heidi MurkoffCameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Elizabeth Banks, Brooklyn Decker, Rebel Wilson and Joe Manganiello have all signed on to star in the movie as well.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm not too sure about this movie but based on the cast I bet it's at least going to be entertaining.

Jeff Bridges To Adapt Classic Lois Lowry Novel 'The Giver'

Jeff Bridges has always been a fantastic actor, he recently won an Oscar in 2010 for his role in Crazy Heart and was nominated for his lead role in True Grit but he's now ready to try his hand at producing a movie.

Not just any movie though. The talented 61-year-old actor is set to adapt Lois Lowry's classic novel The Giver. Not only is The Giver fantastically written but it's story is touching and heartfelt. It's definitely one of my favorites, thanks to my husband.

The story is set in a seemingly perfect society, without crime, poverty, divorce or war.
"December is the time of the annual Ceremony at which each twelve year old receives a life assignment determined by the Elders. Jonas watches his friend Fiona named Caretaker of the Old and his cheerful pal Asher labeled the Assistant Director of Recreation. But Jonas has been chosen for something special. When his selection leads him to an unnamed man -the man called only the Giver -he begins to sense the dark secrets that underlie the fragile perfection of his world."
'The Giver' is a an elderly man charged with keeping the institutional memory for the society, which actually stifles desire and subdues familial differences for the ordered good of society. But as 'The Giver' ages, a new child is assigned to the position.

Bridges will not only produce the film but also star in it as the wise elder, although he originally had someone else in mind for the role.
"I originally thought of the role of the Giver as a vehicle for my father, the late Lloyd Bridges," he told Variety, "however, at 61 years old I feel the time is right for me to do it."
I'm really excited about this big screen adaptation. If you haven't read the book I highly recommend you check it out (although, the ending leaves you thinking 'what the hell was that?').

First Look Of Jennifer Lawrence As Katniss In 'The Hunger Games' Movie

This is the first photo of Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss in the 'Hunger Games' movie.

I still haven't read the book, even after all of it's hype but know that a lot of the books' fans were worried that 20-year-old Jennifer couldn't transform herself and cut it as the fierce heroine, who must complete in the ultimate game of life-or-death.

Now that I see this photo of her on the new issue of Entertainment, I think she may just have been the right girl for the part since she's no longer looking like the blonde barbie she normally resembles. I think it's the brown hair and cute tan that makes me take her a little more seriously. Mean, I know.

The actress had her own doubts when it came to whether she could become Katniss, she tells the magazine:
"I knew that as soon as I said yes, my life would change," she says. "And I walked around an entire day thinking 'It’s not too late, I could still go back and do indies, I haven’t said yes yet, it’s not too late."
But of course she knew deep down inside she couldn't say no...
"I love this story," she says, "and if I had said no, I would regret it every day."

Chelsea Handler To Star In 'Mall' Movie

Dating a millionaire, being a 3x NYT best selling author, producing/starring in an NBC sitcom, being a comedian and show host just isn't enough for Chelsea Handler because she's taking on the big screen.

The 36-year-old comedian is set to star along side Law & Order:CI star Vincent D'Onofrio in the upcoming dark drama, 'Mall', a adaptation of the Eric Bogosian novel.

Per Deadline the film's synopsis is:
The film follows the intersecting paths of five disaffected suburbanites: a stoner teen, a restless housewife (a dark role to be played by Handler), a voyeuristic businessman (D'Onofrio), a mall security guard and a trigger-happy crystal meth addict who heads to the mall looking for trouble.

Brad Pitt Is Going To Be Fighting Zombies

The 'Fight Club' actor is set to star in the film version of the 'Word War Z'. The novel was written in 2006 by Max Brook's and details first person accounts of a zombie war that takes over the world.

Brad Pitt's production company, Plan B, first acquired the rights to World War Z in 2007 after a bidding war with Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way company.

A few days ago it was released that AMC's 'The Killing' starlet Mireille Enos was also cast in the film to star as Brad's wife and mother of two girls.

Marc Foster will be directing the big-budget movie and the script was written by J. Michael Straczynski and Matt Carnahan. The movie is scheduled to begin shooting in June in London, Matla and other locations around the world.

My husband is a huge zombie genre fan and read this book a while ago. He said it was pretty good and has been trying to get me to read it for years, maybe it's time I finally catch up on it.
