Kim Kardashian Filing For Divorce After 72 Days Of Marriage

And no one's surprised.

Reality TV star and socialite Kim Kardashian is rumored to be filing for divorce from husband Kris Humphries this morning. The couple has only been married a whopping 72 days.

According to TMZ, Kim will not be seeking annulment and is a garden variety divorce, in which she cites "irreconcilable differences" and the date of separation is listed as October 31, 2011.

Kim has hired disso-queen Laura Wasser, who has repped the likes of Britney Spears, Maria Shriver, Angelina Jolie, Ryan Reynolds, and Robyn Gibson, Mel's almost ex-wife.

 Kim & Kris married on August 20 in a very large & televised wedding affair in Mentecito, CA. The two did sign a prenuptial agreement.

Like I said before, no one's really surprised about this news...I know I'm not. I didn't think they made a good couple and I don't ever see this girl settling down either.

Kim Kardashian & Kris Humphries Are Now Married!

I could care less about these two getting hitched but I figured I'd post about since it would give me a reason to post a photo of Kim's horrid head piece...woof!

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian and basketball player Kris Humphries are now husband & wife. The couple got engaged only 3 months ago but made it official on Saturday, August 20 at a private home in Montecito, CA.

30-year-old Kim was walked down the alter by her step-father Bruce Jenner. She wore an Ivory body hugging custom-designed strapless Vera Wang gown that reportedly had a full tulle skirt, a basque waist and Chantilly lace that decorated the bodice and long train.

Now we get to my favorite part...Kim donned a classic veil with a horrid 1980's jeweled headpiece containing diamond 'drops' over her forehead. Boy was that ugly.

Kris wore a very boring cream peak tuxedo jacket, white shirt, white bow tie, with black pants by Ermenegildo Zegna. Kim's co-maids of honor and sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, wore strapless cream gowns.

Guests at the wedding included Kim's half-brother Brody Jenner and girlfriend Avril Lavigne, Ryan Seacrest and girlfriend Julianne Hough, R&B singer Ciara, actress Eva Longoria, DWTS dancers Mark Ballas and Cheryl Burke.

From what I've read, PEOPLE magazine has purchased the rights for the exclusive photos to the wedding for a whopping 1.5 million. I think they overpaid.

Kim Kardashian Is Engaged

The socialite finally landed herself a guy who's willing to marry her and not just prance her around town.

Kim Kardashian, 30, and now fiance Kris Humpries, 26, are on the cover of this week's PEOPLE magazine releasing the news. A little too 'hey look at me!'? I think so.

According to PEOPLE, Kim walked into her Beverly Hills home on May 18 and her boyfriend of 6 months, New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries, was waiting on bended knee in her bedroom with four words written in rose petals: 'Will You Marry Me?"

"I didn't expect this at all," Kardashian, 30, tells PEOPLE in an exclusive interview (out Friday) of the romantic, surprise proposal. "I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now."

Kris popped the question with custom-designed 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring. (Overkill)

"I just knew I wanted it to be big," says Humphries.

It's all a little too cheesy for me but good for her. I don't know if I actually see it lasting though, I mean they only dated 6 months and Kim doesn't necessarily have the best track record when it comes to relationships.
