The Aussie actress posed for a multi-page spread shot by Peggy Sirota while opening up to the publication about her relationship with late actor Heath Ledger.

In a rare moment of openness, Miss Watts said, "We had a beautiful relationship, only a couple of years, but he was a man who was completely full of joy, and there was a lot of laughing and affection. He was really a very special soul and made a great impact on my life."

The 42-year-old - who is readying for the release of two new movies "Dream House" and "J Edgar" - added, "(Ledger was) a great actor, but I know there was so much more to come. And it’s a tragedy for his little daughter. Not knowing my father always made me feel like a piece of myself was missing or unknown. Not reachable. Growing up, there was this wondering what he would think of me or what I would think of him."

She dated Heath Ledger from 2002 until 2004 and Naomi Watts recently told press that she had some wonderful moments with the late actor.

The “Dream House” actress, who has two sons with Live Schreiber, also noted that she feels sympathy for Ledger’s daughter Matilda, as she also lost her father at a young age.

'PAUL' Hollywood Movie Premiere



The stars of 'PAUL' gathered at Hollywood's Grauman's Chinese Theatre on Monday night for the movie's premiere. The movie stars the British talented & hilariously funny actors Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.

The real life friends co-wrote 'PAUL' together and have also starred in 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Hot Fuzz' together. 'PAUL' is already a huge hit in the UK & I'm hoping is going to just as well here in the US, I know I'll be at the theaters watching it.

The movie is about Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, two English comic and sci-fi nerds who visit the Con and then hit the roan in an RV to visit famous alien encounter hot spots in the American Southwest. Along the way, they have a close encounter of their own with a real and disarmingly crude alien, Paul (voiced by Seth Rogan). After the two friends agree to help Paul find his way home, they find themselves being chased by the FBI.
