'Con Air' star Nicholas Cage was arrested in New Orleans this morning after a fight ensued between him and his wife Alice.
According to TMZ a cabbie called the police and said in addition to the screaming and yelling ... he saw Nic grab her (Alice). Nic was then advised by police to just go home but Nic allegedly told cops, "Why don't you just arrest me?"...so they did.
Nicholas Cage was arrested for domestic abuse and disturbing the peace although his wife is not a complaining witness and does not want him charged.
He has since been released on $11,000 bail.
